WCBS-AM business reporter will discuss insights and experiences to help Long Island businesses succeed in the emerging economy

(Uniondale, NY - Aug. 9, 2019) - PSEG Long Island today announced that Joe Connolly, long-time host of CBS Bloomberg Business Reports, will deliver the keynote presentation at the Energize Long Island conference, scheduled for Oct. 31, 2019 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington. The day-long event is expected to attract more than 500 attendees and will feature fifteen educational workshops to help participants optimize energy usage, lower costs, and conserve resources. This marks the seventh year PSEG Long Island is hosting this conference.

Joe Connolly's daily CBS Bloomberg Business Reports remain one of the most popular programming elements on WCBS Newsradio 880, New York's iconic radio station. His reports are heard weekday mornings and he is frequently praised by colleagues, such as New York Magazine, which has commended him for turning 'routine business stories' into 'instructive stories.' During his remarks at Energize Long Island, Connolly will share examples of other businesses in the New York region that are benefitting from implementing innovative energy efficiency strategies to increase performance and reduce costs.
