Ramsay Health Care : ASX Announcement – Appointment of Dr Claudia Süssmuth Dyckerhoff to the Board of Ramsay Health Care Limited

DR CLAUDIA SÜSSMUTH DYCKERHOFF TO JOIN THE RAMSAY HEALTH CARE LIMITED BOARD

The Chairman of Ramsay Health Care, Michael Siddle, today announced that Dr Claudia Süssmuth Dyckerhoff PhD, a global expert in healthcare across Europe, Asia and the USA, will be joining the Ramsay Health Care Board as a non-executive director. Shareholders will be asked to elect Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff at the 2018 Annual General Meeting to be held on 14 November 2018.

Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff has been with McKinsey & Company for 21 years, where she remains in the role of an external Senior Advisor. Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff joined McKinsey & Company in Switzerland in 1995 and was transferred to the USA focusing on supporting healthcare companies, including pharmaceutical/medical device companies, payor, provider and health systems in Europe and the USA. In 2006, Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff transferred to China, was elected Senior Partner in 2010 and supported health care companies as well as governments across Asia. She also led McKinsey's Asia-wide Health Systems and Services Sector.

Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff became a Board member of Hoffmann La Roche in March 2016 and a Board member of Clariant in April 2016. At Hoffmann La Roche she is a member of the Audit and Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee. Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff also supports three start-ups, and in September 2017 she joined the Board of med tech start-up Cyrcadia.

Dr Süssmuth Dyckerhoff studied Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland as well as at ESADE, Barcelona where she graduated with an MBA/CEMS Master. She also holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen/University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
