Update regarding Welsh Wind Farm project: Planning Inspectorate receives Mynydd y Gwynt Development Consent Order Application

Renewable Energy Holdings plc (AIM: REH), is pleased to announce that the Planning Inspectorate has confirmed receipt of an application by Mynydd y Gwynt Ltd for an Order Granting Development Consent for the proposed Mynydd y Gwynt Wind Farm. The Inspectorate has up to 28 days to decide if the application meets the standards required to be formally accepted for examination. The Planning Inspectorate will now assess the application for acceptance.

The application is for 27 wind turbines of 3-3.3MW each, giving a capacity between 81-89.1MW. For more information on the process and the latest status of the project see the Planning Inspectorate websitehttp://infrastructure.planningportal.gov.uk/
