We just announced plans to bring wireless coverage to over 1,000 kilometres of unserved highway corridors across Canada. Our wireless network investment of $100 million over five years will deliver high-speed LTE wireless service to remote locations so our customers can stay connected and Canadians can reach local emergency responders.

As a proud Canadian-owned company, we are investing in our wireless network to bring more seamless service, increased economic opportunities for residents and businesses, and improved public safety.

The Rogers network will provide essential emergency wireless coverage to all Canadians so they can access 911, regardless of their carrier. In 2018, Rogers connected nearly three million Canadians to essential 911 services during critical times of need.

This plan builds on the $2.8 billion invested in infrastructure in 2018 to bring Canadians world-leading technology, and will take advantage of the federal government's Accelerated Investment Incentive, announced last fall.

While we connect rural and remote parts of Canada, we continue to deliver a state-of-the-art wireless network. Through our 5G multi-year network plan with Ericsson, we are ensuring Canadians will be at the forefront of emerging technologies.
