1. Where do you volunteer - what's your favourite thing about what you do?

I volunteer at the Youth Advisory Group at the Parliament Library. My favourite thing about volunteering at this council is brainstorming ideas with the members of what events should be held for the youth in the local community. It's great to see so many creative ideas be brought to the table as well as organised for the final day of the respective event.

2. Why was receiving a Ted Rogers Scholarship special?

As I was recognised for my extracurricular and academic achievements, the Ted Rogers Scholarship no doubt supports me to continue to take the initiative to be involved in volunteering in my school and community and work diligently in my academics in University. A generous scholarship like Ted Rogers will constantly remind me of the importance of my efforts in creating change.

3. Where do you plan on going to school and what will you study?

I am planning on studying at the University of Toronto in the Track One Engineering program.

4. What are your long-term goals?

My long term goal is to work on a large scale project as an engineer that will leave a positive environmental impact. I hope that the project will be brought to attention from many media platforms such as AJ+ where I have seen many environmentally specific applications created from amateurs that have inspired me to pursue a career in Engineering.
