Russian national operator Rostelecom said it upgraded its services for 868 legal entities in the Kemerovo region in 2018. The corporate customers were transferred from copper lines to fibre-optic lines.
The customers have become able to use broadband at up to 10 Gbps, as well as video-surveillance, online audio-conferencing, virtual data centre, VPN and PBX services.
In 2018, the national operator deployed 88 km of its fibre-optic lines in the region, and the capital expenditure exceeded RUB 30 million.
Rostelecom also announced that more than 1,000 SMEs have connected to its Be Positive package in the Voronezh region. Broadband at up to 100 Mbps is available under the package, and the customers are also able to choose PBX, IPTV, Wi-Fi, video-surveillance, SMS-dissemination and mobile services from the national operator.
