System solutions for the automotive industry - e-AUCTION with new functions

Salzgitter AG and its subsidiaries will offer a close exchange with customers and partners at EuroBLECH from October 23 - 26, 2018 as they present system solutions for the automotive industry and new paths in the steel trade.
EuroBLECH in Hannover is seen as the world's leading trade fair for sheet metal working. The Salzgitter Group and its subsidiaries will be exhibiting in Hall 17, Stand D78. One important topic at the fair will be Salzgitter Flachstahl index grades, whose complex production and logistics can be experienced in Virtual Reality.
Using a hood from the Mercedes-AMG E 63, Salzgitter Automotive Engineering will be demonstrating its know-how as a specialist for sheet metal forming for car body construction. The production chain for this element includes the manufacture of the individual parts, their assembly, and the hardening of the glued connections at a defined temperature in the heating furnace.
Salzgitter Mannesmann Stahlhandel will be presenting the e-AUCTION in the framework of its e-WORLD. The online platform makes it possible to purchase Salzgitter Group steel products in auctions. SMSD is the first steel trader to auction off articles in a public bidding process and to allow tracking of the current bid. This process is now completely responsive and can also be followed from anyway on a Smartphone.
