The dedication event saw the celebration of homeowners, the Jenny and Bryce Family, along with all the wonderful volunteers and sponsors who provided their amazing support throughout the restoration process.

As a proud partner of the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity, School Specialty was honored with a commemoration at the April 30 'welcome home' ceremony for the Company's generous donations of inventory for warehouse sales that have helped the Habitat for Humanity ReStore group raise much needed funds to build safe, decent and affordable housing in the community. In particular, a March 2014 'School Specialty Sale' organized by Habitat ReStore saw many local educators, day care providers and others in need of quality school and office supplies at deep discounts, come out to contribute to the tremendously worthy cause. The event generated almost $70,000 in funds that helped with restoration efforts at the Hortonville home.

School Specialty has been collaborating with the Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity for more than a decade, since 2002, and continues to support the organization through volunteered time/work and donated merchandise for sales opportunities. In 2014, the Company provided approximately $500,000 in school and office supplies to help raise funds that go towards the purchase of materials for constructing and repairing homes for Fox Valley families.
