Sempra Energy said Friday that it received government approvals needed to sell its business line in Peru.
The San Diego-based energy-infrastructure company plans to sell its Peruvian division to China Yangtze Power International. The sale will earn Sempra about $3.59 billion, the company said.
Sempra is also moving to sell its Chilean business, a deal valued at about $2.23 billion, the company said.
