Resignation of Chief Financial Officer

Sigma Healthcare Limited (Sigma) advises that its Chief Financial Officer, Iona MacPherson, has resigned and by mutual agreement will depart Sigma today. Iona commenced with Sigma in November 2016 as Chief Financial Officer and has been a valued member of our Executive team.

The Sigma Board thanks Iona for her commitment and contribution to Sigma over the past three years and wishes her future success.

The company has commenced an external search for a new Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance team through our ongoing business transformation and cultural change program.

In the meantime, Jeff Sells will be acting CFO in conjunction with his current role as Executive General Manager Retail Pharmacy. Jeff has been with Sigma for nine years, including six years as CFO from 2010 to 2016.

Sigma CEO and Managing Director, Mark Hooper commented "Whilst the timing of this change is not ideal, it will have no impact on our trading performance or the achievement of our $100+ million efficiency gains through our Project Pivot transformation program. Sales for December and early January have continued to be strong and we remain on target to meet our existing guidance of $46-47 million Underlying EBITDA and to accelerate our growth through FY21."
