Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC is engaged in providing retail and wholesale marketing, financing, assembling, and manufacturing and financial services. The Company's segments include Consumer Electronics, Financial Services, Furniture, Home Appliances, Digital Products, Sewing and Other. Its Consumer Electronics segment includes televisions, audios, digital versatile disks, and other electronic products. Its Financial Services segment offers leasing, hire purchase and loans. Its Furniture segment includes wood and layered furniture, sofa sets, steel furniture, mattresses, and pantry sets. Its Home Appliances segment includes refrigerators, washing machines, deep freezers, bottle coolers, air conditioners, fans, small appliances, and kitchen appliances. Its Digital Products segment includes laptops, smart phones, and accessories. Its Sewing segment offers domestic and industrial sewing machines and general merchandise. Its Other segment offers water pumps, paddy threshers, tractors and bicycle.
