Bensheim. At the Digital Dentistry Symposium, dental professionals caught up with the latest dental technologies, materials and procedures, and gained insight into the latest trends in digital dentistry. As the sponsor, Dentsply Sirona sought to empower attendees to offer better, safer and faster dental care. The scientific program comprised talks on: digital dentistry in the aesthetic zone by Dr. Gerhard Werling, work steps in the digital dentistry process by Dr. Roberto Molinari, individual implant abutments by Andreas Kurbad, occlusion in daily clinical practice by Dr. Galip Gürel, as well as a speech on CAD/CAM techniques in implant borne suprastructures by Dr. Axel Zöllner.

Scanning competition with the CEREC Omnicam

Furthermore, during the symposium a competition was organized at the Dentsply Sirona booth to determine the 'fastest full-jaw scanner with CEREC Omnicam.' Among the 27 participants, Dr. Murat Kılıç from Gaziantep emerged as the lucky winner with a record of scanning the full jaw within 20 seconds.

Apart from the highly interesting scientific program, participants enjoyed the sunny weather and the beach, but also had a lot of fun during the CADA 1st Year Party in the evening. The Dentsply Sirona Turkey team performed a percussion show on the main stage during the second day to keep the participants energized. The 5th Digital Dentistry Symposium was a great success for everyone.
