To hold virtual Annual General Meeting

MONTREAL, March 19, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) is pleased to announce the nomination of Ms. Mary-Ann Bell to the Board of Directors as part of the ongoing renewal process focused on meeting the evolving needs of the Company and supporting its strategic objectives and long-term sustainability.

Ms. Bell is an industrial engineer by background, who has developed compelling managerial and leadership skills through a successful career in telecommunications at Bell Canada and Bell Aliant Regional Communications until 2014. She held various management positions over the years, including as a Senior Vice-President for Quebec and Ontario from 2009 to 2014. She previously was Chief Operating Officer for the Quebec business and a key leader in setting up a Quebec business for Bell Aliant.

Ms. Bell's interest in governance brought her to contribute to many not-for-profit, private and publicly traded company boards, and she is also a Corporate Director for the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations (IGOPP). She currently serves as a director of NAV CANADA and of Cogeco Inc (the diversified holding corporation which operates in the communications and media sectors).

"As part of our Board renewal, we once again have a great opportunity to welcome a candidate that is aligned with the Company's new strategic direction and desire to ensure that our extensive technology platforms are at the heart of the company's success," said Kevin Lynch, Chairman of the Board. "She will be a great addition to the board and has a strong commitment to the success of SNC-Lavalin as a global company, headquartered in Montreal."

Ms. Bell will stand for election by shareholders at the SNC-Lavalin Annual General Meeting on May 7th, 2020. On February 6th, SNC-Lavalin announced the nominations of Mr. Gary C. Baughman, Mr. Chris Clark and Mr. Mike Pedersen to its Board of Directors as part of its Board renewal process.
