Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Staffline, the Recruitment and Training organisa!on , is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Ward CBE, as a non-execu!ve director, with effect from 5 October 2018. Following her appointment, Dawn will be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Dawn has focused on further educa!on throughout her career, holding a number of senior posi!ons in the sector and is currently Chief Execu!ve at Burton and South Derbyshire College of Further and Higher Educa!on, a posi!on she has held since 2008. Previously she was Principal and Chief Execu!ve of Royal Forest of Dean College (2005-2008).Dawn is also Deputy Chair of the Chartered Ins!tu!on for Further Educa!on, a member of the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership Board, a Governor at Repton School and is a member of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Chambers of Commerce.

Dawn has a demonstrated history of working in the UK and interna!onally and is passionate about promo!ng the benefits of compe!!ve skills educa!on and training. She was awarded an OBE in 2007 for her services to educa!on and skills training and a CBE in 2015 for her services to education.
