State Street : Global Advisors Strengthens Marketing Team with Three Internal Executive Appointments

BOSTON, LONDON and HONG KONG, November 30, 2018- State Street Global Advisors, the asset management business of State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), today announced the appointment of Jet Lali as chief digital officer, Sarah Estwick as head of North America SPDR marketing and Sarah Higgins as head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) & Asia Pacific (APAC) SPDR marketing, effective immediately. Lali will report to State Street Global Advisors' chief marketing officer Stephen Tisdalle, while Estwick and Higgins will report to Global Head of SPDR marketing Seth Morrison. All appointments are internal promotions.

Jet Lali was most recently head of SPDR marketing for EMEA and APAC. He joined State Street Global Advisors from UBS where he was head of marketing in EMEA and digital marketing globally. Before joining UBS, Lali held leadership roles at BlackRock, JPMorgan and Barclays in marketing and technology. He also spent several years in management consulting for Alpha FMC where he established their digital practice.

Sarah Estwick was most recently head of SPDR digital marketing for EMEA and APAC. Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors in 2015, Estwick held marketing and business development roles at UK boutique asset manager, Sarasin & Partners. Prior to this, she spent six years at BlackRock (formerly BGI) in various marketing roles in both Sydney and London. She a member of the team that launched iShares ETFs to the Australian market, and in London she led the digital marketing efforts of BlackRock's Intermediary business.

Sarah Higgins joined State Street Global Advisors in July 2017 as head of public relations for SPDR ETFs in EMEA. She spent more than a decade in the European marketing team at Russell Investments where she held a variety of roles including head of marketing EMEA and head of communications EMEA. Sarah joined Russell from the European marketing team at Jefferies and began her career at financial communications agency, Finsbury, part of the WPP Group.
