Steinhoff - Enterprise Chamber inquiry proceedings

Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. (the "Company" and with its subsidiaries, the "Group").

On 21 February the Company confirmed receipt of a petition by a group of shareholders

for inquiry proceedings before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal

(the "Enterprise Chamber"). A hearing was scheduled to take place on 23 May 2019.

The Company and the group of shareholders have mutually agreed to postpone the date

of this hearing to a date later in the calendar year. The date of the hearing will be

communicated to the market as soon as it has been finalised.

Shareholders and other investors in the Company are advised to exercise caution when

dealing in the securities of the Group.
