Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) is proud to announce that professional shooting team member James McGinty has earned his first-ever ICORE overall win at the 2018 New England Regional ICORE Championship held at the Genesee Conservation League in Rochester, NY on July 28.
McGinty walked away with a first-place finish in the Limited 6 division and finished first overall, competing with the .357 Magnum GP100®. He finished with an impressive overall final score of 154.63, nearly 7.4 seconds faster than his nearest competitor who was shooting in the open class.
'This was my first ICORE match of the year and my GP100 ran perfectly,' commented McGinty. 'I was extremely happy with my accuracy for the match and am very proud to put Ruger at the top.'
Teammate Dave Olhasso finished second in the Classic division, also shooting his GP100, with a final score 207.72.
