The first-ever Swiss Women's Board Award was presented on Monday evening. The award is organized by Mercuri Urval and the selection is made by a six-person jury consisting of board members from various industries. Ingrid Deltenre was chosen due to the variety of her mandates and her qualifications, and also due to the responsible guiding culture, which she promotes and practices.

'We sincerely congratulate Ingrid Deltenre on this award,' says Peter Kurer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Sunrise. 'With her extensive and broad experience in various organizations and companies, she is a fantastic addition to our administrative board and has already achieved plenty in her first year at Sunrise. She is a role model for all women and is a great advocate for the advancement of women at Sunrise, too.'

Ingrid Deltenre has been a Member of the Board at Sunrise since April 2018. She started her professional career as Secretary General of the Swiss Press Association and later spent five years in the role of Publishing Manager at the business newspaper Cash. She took on the role of Director of Schweizer Fernsehen (SF) between 2003 and 2009 and then became Director General of EUROVISION in Geneva until 2017. Ingrid Deltenre studied Education, Journalism and Biological Anthropology in Zurich. In addition to her various board mandates, she is also President of the Management Committee of the Executive MBA at the University of Zurich and is on the foundation board of Swiss Mountain Aid.
