'At Sunrise, we lead an open dialog and show great team spirit. I am delighted that our employees not only identify with this 'challenger' mentality so strongly, but by doing so, they also experience trust and solidarity in their job,' says Olaf Swantee, CEO of Sunrise. 'The huge amount of positive feedback has motivated us to keep the ball rolling, but offers a valuable incentive to work on the areas that still need improvement. Specifically, we want to further develop the potential and skills of our employees in what is an extremely dynamic and competitive market. This will help us create an even more attractive workplace together.'

For the company's first Great Place to Work® certification, Sunrise staff gave their employer top ratings in all five categories - trust, respect, fairness, pride, and team spirit. With an above-average participation rate of 82% of the workforce, Sunrise achieved a particularly impressive result in the category 'Pride': 88% of the company's employees are proud to work at Sunrise. In total, 87% think that Sunrise is a 'Great Place to Work®'.

The flexible working-time model is clearly well-received among employees. They also appreciate the fact that they benefit from the same opportunities and prospects regardless of gender, age, origin, and disabilities.

The 'Great Place to Work' certification is based on an anonymous survey of all employees as well as an analysis of the HR and management perspective. To receive the Great Place to Work certification, companies must achieve a score of at least 70% in the evaluation of criteria from both parts.
