The Un-carrier changed the landscape of the wireless industry for good, and now it's changing the entire landscape of its Bellevue, WA, campus for…awesome!T-Mobile has become the Un-carrier… from its HQ on the hill above I-90 in Bellevue, Washington. But it's bursting at the seams. Over the past five years alone, its HQ campus employee count has increased by more than 56% to now having more than 6,200 employees (not counting retail stores). And, as T-Mobile has a lot of goodness to come - expansion into new businesses, a coming launch of nationwide 5G, and a historic merger on the horizon - the company knows now is the time to create a Bellevue HQ hub that's truly primed for the future … today. Even as the company continues to expand in other states (including, it hopes, a Kansas HQ to come), it is strongly committed to expanding its Pacific Northwest roots.

Having just reupped its Bellevue lease through 2030, T-Mobile and its landlord Ivanhoe Cambridge have broken ground on a $160 million renovation that - over the next three years - will transform its Northwest headquarters into a modern, inclusive, connected and flexible workplace to better support innovation and collaboration among employees. In addition to creating an awesome environment to push forward the next wave of industry-changing initiatives that the Un-carrier is known for, there are a ton of other cool things that this revitalization will bring to Bellevue-based T-Mobile employees. Everything from dry-cleaning drop-off, a DIY bike repair station, poke bowls and even an onsite pub! Here's a peek behind the scenes at just five of the dozens of upgrades worth getting excited about:

Welcome to the Neighborhood!

Greater community buildings for greater community building: Rather than siloed cubes and offices, teams will move into neighborhoods that include work spaces with both open and assigned seats. Employees will be able to work in a range of configurations that suit their working style. Oh, and the neighborhood now has it's very own dry-cleaning drop offs, helping make a pesky chore - super convenient!
