Tata Consultancy Services Received the Awards for its 2019 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon Race App and For Driving Growth and Transformation through Technological Innovation.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has been recognized with two Stevies at the seventh annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

More than 1,000 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year's awards. TCS won a Silver Stevie in the Innovation in Entertainment Apps category for its Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) 2019 Official Race App, as well as a Bronze Stevie in the Excellence in Innovation in Technology Industries category for driving growth and transformation through technological excellence and innovation within TCS.

The SCSM 2019 Official Race App developed by TCS featured next-level technology to advance runner and audience engagement, including the SCSM Virtual Training Buddy, a gamification feature that engaged runners beyond the race, both on-ground and online, and a 'Live Tracking' feature that allowed spectators to track their favorite runners on race day.

The app also included a spectator guide, enabling supporters to get an estimated preview on the tracked runners' timing on course and use that information to choose viewing zones to cheer for them as they run by. These innovations helped to push a record-breaking 32,700 downloads, a 12.4 percent increase since 2018.

'As the official mobile app partner of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, we have brought to the event the innovation and exciting user experience that our customers admire us for. We are proud to receive this Stevie Award for our SCSM 2019 Official Race App which is a recognition of the app's popularity and usefulness for runners and spectators alike,' said Girish Ramachandran, Head, TCS Asia Pacific.

TCS was also recognized for driving growth and transformation internally through technological excellence and innovation towards enhancing business agility and employee experience. It has been driving multiple digital transformation initiatives, in line with its Business 4.0 framework and Enterprise Agile 2020 vision, setting an exemplary model towards a purpose-driven, resilient, and adaptable organization. The transformation journey is marked by a future-ready global IT ecosystem, and driven by the adoption of best-in-class practices, frameworks and technologies.

'Organizations across the world are realizing the potential of digital transformation and embracing it to fuel their growth. At TCS, our focus on holistic transformation leveraging the power of technology is helping us drive enterprise agility. This recognition underlines our passion for innovation and acknowledges our transformation initiatives towards being future-ready, while continuing to deliver best-in-class solutions to our stakeholders,' said Abhijit Mazumder, CIO, TCS.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 29 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. It is widely considered to be the world's premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for 18 years.
