Tata Power, India's largest integrated power utility was honoured with two awards at the recently held Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) Awards 2019 in Delhi. While the company won the 'Company Category Award' for Best Performing Utility having integrated operation in Generation, Transmission & Distribution,Mr. Ashok Sethi was felicitated with the 'Individual Category Award' for Excellent Contribution in Power Sector Development by Shri R.K. Singh, Union Minister of State (I/C)for Power, New and Renewable Energy.

The awards recognized Tata Power's outstanding contribution to the nation's economy, demonstrated through excellent leadership in all facets of the power sector including Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Trading and Skill Development.

Speaking on this achievement, Mr. Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power said, 'We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious recognition from CBIP and deeply thank them for these awards.
