Local charity Springboard has received £250 funding as part of our donation box scheme at our Crawley based development,Forge Wood. We invite visitors to vote for one of three local good causes to receive a monetary donation every month and, after receiving the most votes, Springboard have been announced as the latest winners of the scheme.

Springboard is a community based charity which provides inclusive support to disabled children, young people and their families in Crawley, Horsham, Worthing and surrounding areas, and to disabled young people aged 12-18 in the London Borough of Sutton. The charity organises sessions, activities and trips for disabled children and young people, to nurture independence, opportunities and social interaction which is equal to that of their non-disabled peers. This also gives parents time away from their role of caring which improves family life.

Commenting on the support, Helen Green, Business Support Officer at Springboard, said: 'We were delighted to find out that the local community had chosen us to be the latest recipients of a £250 donation from Taylor Wimpey. Our services are in high demand and the groups we run really do help to improve the children and young people's social skills, independence and self-esteem. It's vital that we continue our work and donations like this from Taylor Wimpey will help us to do just that and we would like to say a big thank you for the support.'
