Our South Thames team is celebrating after three of its site managers received a prestigious NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality award. The award recognises site managers and their teams who produce the highest quality homes and winners are selected from around 16,000 site managers from around the UK.

Justin Crump, site manager at Taylor Wimpey's Kilnwood Vale development in Faygate, Murray Pike from Greenhill Gardens in Haywards Heath and Malcolm Fry from Leybourne Chase in West Malling, are among the 450 recipients of a Pride in the Job Quality award in 2018. Awards are presented following a series of assessments by NHBC inspectors and give homebuyers the assurance that the homes at these developments are of top quality.

David Hill, Interim Managing Director of Taylor Wimpey South Thames, said: 'We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service and are very proud to have three Pride in the Job Quality award winners on our team. Justin, Murray, Malcolm and their teams work extremely hard to ensure that the homes we provide are of a consistently high standard and the recognition for their efforts is thoroughly deserved.'

This is the second year in a row that Malcolm has received an award for his work at Leybourne Chase. He says: 'I am absolutely over the moon to have won a Pride in the Job Quality award for the second time. It's great to be able to say that we continue to be an NHBC award winning housebuilder and our customers can be assured that the homes they will be moving into at Leybourne Chase are completed to the highest possible standards.'

Commenting on his win, Justin said: 'I'm delighted to have won a Pride in the Job Quality award. It's a fantastic honour not just for me, but for the whole team at Kilnwood Vale who have worked so hard to build high-quality homes.'

Murray, adds: 'Myself and my team take great pride in the homes we build at Greenhill Gardens and I'm delighted to have been recognised by the NHBC in this way.'

Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of site manager's who achieve the highest standards in new home construction. It has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades. Recipients of a Pride in the Job Quality award are entered into the next stages of the competition which sees the announcement of regionally based Seal of Excellence and Regional award winners before four site managers are announced as overall Supreme award winners in January 2019.
