RIGA, Feb 12 (LETA) Tele2 mobile operator this year will invest about EUR 500,000 in customer service centers and development of self0service in digital environment, Tele2 spokesman Oskars Firmanis reported.
Hes aid that this year nine customer service centers in Latvia will be upgraded, and a new center will be opened in Akropole shopping mall. Improvements in the self-service are expected by late March.
Firmanis said that last year Tele2 served customers 4.8 million times in its customer service centers and more than ten million times online. The number of visitors on Tele2 internet website has increased by 30 percent.
Tele2 commercial director Raivo Rosts said that customer satisfaction with Tele2 services has increased, therefore also this year the company will keep investments in customer service.
Last year Tele2 invested about EUR 9.5 million in network development, which is by 11 percent more than in 2017.
Tele2 in 2017 generated EUR 125.208 million in sales, up 12.6 percent from 2016, and earned EUR 28.693 million in profit, growing 79 percent.
Tele2 was founded in 1997 and is fully owned by Sweden's Tele2 Sverige Aktiebolag.
