Bibiane Godfroid appointed Chairwoman of the Newen Studios group
Following clearance from the Competition Authority, the TF1 group today announces that it has finalisedthe acquisition of the residual 30% stake in the Newen Studios group.
Bibiane Godfroid is appointed Chairwoman of Newen Studios, replacing Fabrice Larue who is leaving the Group to pursue new projects.

Over the years, the successive buyouts of Telfrance, Capa, 17Juin, Blue Spirit Productions and Tuvalu Media, and the creation of Neweb, have enabled Newen to assemble a unique coalition of talents across the whole spectrum of production and the web. I have total confidence in Bibiane Godfroid, whose track record and professional qualities will be a source of great strength to the Newen group. About the TF1 group : The TF1 group is the leading private-sector unencrypted television broadcaster in France, with five unencrypted channels (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and LCI) plus the pay-TV theme channels TV Breizh, Histoire, UshuaïaTV and Serieclub (the last of which is 50% owned).

TF1 is a major player in the French audiovisual sector, active in the publishing, production and broadcasting of content. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- Media (85.7%): a leading content offering and linear and digital advertising revenues, including 5 free-to-air channels (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films and LCI), 4 theme channels (Ushuaia TV, Histoire TV, TV Breizh and Série Club), 3 on-demand content platforms (MYTF1, TFOU MAX and Salto) and the TF1 PUB advertising airtime sales house. The group also operates in music production and live shows with Muzeek One;
- Audiovisual production (14.3%; Newen Studios): production of content according to a differentiating multi-genre strategy (TV films, daily, fiction, distribution, animation, documentaries, etc.).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (85.7%), Continental Europe (11.4%) and other (2.9%).
