FPCCI leaders on Monday expressed heartfeltly condolence over the sudden and sad demise of renowned banking and insurance professional Salim Nawaz who died due to Covid-19 infection.

The deceased has served in important positions in Afghanistan International Bank, Bank of Punjab, Soneri Bank, and a number of local and multinational insurance companies and he was also an active member of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Insurance.

An online condolence meeting was held in which the contributions of Salim Nawaz were discussed and rich tributes were paid to him.

FPCCI's Businessmen Panel SVP and President Pakistan Businessmen and Intellectuals Forum Mian Zahid Hussain, Convener FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Insurance Dr. Murtaza Mughal, Qazi Asif Saeed of JA Bank, Altamash Malik of UIC, and others participated in the meeting.

The participants said that sudden death of Salim Nawaz was very shocking and an irreparable loss which will be felt for decades.

He was a thorough professional, a mentor, a gentleman having incomparable skills in product development, marketing, systems development, training, re-engineering, and operations while has also launched a number of new products while working in different companies.
