Embedded Analytics Solution Features New Chart Types, Data Summaries, Tennant Replication, and Tennant Master Scheduler

Palo Alto, Calif., February 18, 2016 - TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in integration, analytics and event processing, today announced an array of enhancements to its TIBCO Jaspersoft® 6.2 embedded analytics and reporting software. With new options for graphical and tabular displays, as well as extensions to the Jaspersoft® platform's popular multi-tenancy support for improved scalability, developers can now build customized reports faster and manage application scalability with greater ease. The latest features were inspired by user-community input and designed to expand embedded analytics capabilities without further taxing IT or development staff.

Jaspersoft 6.2 is an embedded business intelligence (BI) platform that delivers timely data and reports within existing applications and business processes, for faster and more informed decision-making. Its new self-service features include a wealth of report customization options for casual data consumers, power users, and IT alike-effectively extending analytics and reporting opportunities across an organization. The new collaborative functionality allows casual users to easily build and customize their own reports. If desired, the same reports can be routed to IT for refinement, where greater complexity can be quickly edited at the API-level. Jaspersoft 6.2 also extends advanced multi-tenant support, which is increasingly critical in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models for scaling and managing user bases of all sizes and skill levels.

Other notable features in Jaspersoft 6.2 include:

• Enhanced self-service, new charts, and advanced editing - 36 charts in total (including semi-pie and tree maps) with hundreds of editable properties. New data summary to identify best and worst performers in large datasets.
• Tenant replication - Users can take one instance of Jaspersoft and replicate and partition it for different customers, who will each have their own unique business intelligence (BI) system. Customers can be designated to their own infrastructures and users can propagate updates to selected groups of customers all at once-rather than one by one-with each securely receiving only their own data.
• Tenant master scheduler - Allows users to schedule their own reports, but also allows administrators to manage those reports for distribution across different tenants.
• Support for the latest platforms - Expanded support for big data and NoSQL databases like MongoDB®, Cloudera®, and Apache Spark™ and many other modern platforms that app builders use.
