Press Release (Apr 30,2014) Change of Company Organization

In order to steadily promote the management reform addressed in the New Comprehensive Special Business Plan approved on January 15, 2014, we will restructure our organization as of June 26 as follows:

1.Creation of "Regional Grid-Interconnection Promotion Office".
The environment of electrical power system operation is now going through a major change, as seen in the development of electrical power system innovation, renewal energies, and the introduction and expansion of smart meters.
Going along with this trend, we will create the "Regional Grid-Interconnection Promotion Office" in the "Management & Planning Div.", which will be effective as of June 26, 2014, and will review proactively the system operation for the next generation with a broad perspective, including the regional collaboration.  

2.Review of the organizational structure of the Customer Service Company.
In anticipation of a severe competitiveness is coming up in the energies market through the full liberalization, etc., we will transfer the "Gas Business Dept." currently set in the corporate division to the Customer Service Company.
In addition, the "CS* Promotion Dept." will be created in the Customer Service Company in order to provide products and services with hospitality to reflect the customer needs and opinions.
