TACOMA, Wash. (AP) _ TrueBlue Inc. (TBI) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $8.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Tacoma, Washington-based company said it had net income of 23 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 39 cents per share.

The blue-collar temporary staffing company posted revenue of $591 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $63.1 million, or $1.61 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.37 billion.

For the current quarter ending in April, TrueBlue expects its per-share earnings to range from 4 cents to 11 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $503 million to $528 million for the fiscal first quarter.

TrueBlue shares have declined roughly 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $22.96, a fall of slightly more than 6% in the last 12 months.
