TUI Blue is growing: From Summer 2020, the portfolio of the popular lifestyle hotel brand will include around 100 hotels. For the first time, all future hotel managers and partners met with TUI Blue's management in order to discuss the future of the brand and prepare for the next season. It is rare for so many passionate hosts to meet in one single room: The conference held in Sarigerme in Turkey was attended by around 250 participants.

TUI Blue will be positioned as TUI's global flagship hotel brand. It has been built by clustering the tailored offerings of TUI Blue, TUI Sensimar and TUI Family Life. The brand offers lifestyle- and experience-oriented holidaymakers a hotel product tailored to their individual needs and preferences, both for adults, families or holidaymakers interested in local culture and authentic experiences. At the start of the conference, Sebastian Ebel, member of the Executive Board of TUI Group, and Erik Friemuth, Managing Director TUI Hotels & Resorts, presented their vision for the brand and thanked all participants for the intensive work delivered in the past few weeks.

TUI Blue Managing Directors Artur Gerber, Louise Bates and Jano Martin presented the design of the customer experience in the hotels from the forthcoming Summer season. Furthermore, TUI Group's expert teams offered insights into the future branding, digital features and their benefits for customers as well as the hotels' commitment for sustainable development. Guest speaker Steven van Belleghem gave an impressive talk about the future development of the customer experience and the role of Artificial Intelligence and digitalisation in this context. His conclusion: In a highly technologized world, people will not be less relevant; on the contrary, the personal touch will be even more valuable. That view is certainly shared by TUI Blue's hotel managers. After all, despite the many digital services already offered by the brand to make holidays easier in many ways, personal contact with the guests remains the key factor making their stay unique.
