Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) was recently named by Forbes on its ‘America’s Best Midsize Employers’ list for 2019. This marks the second consecutive year that Tyler was included on this list, moving up from its rank of #363 in 2018 to #159 in 2019.

“We’re proud to once again be recognized by Forbes as a top midsize employer, as we continually strive to create a desirable work environment for our more than 5,000 employees,” said Lynn Moore, president and CEO of Tyler. “In fact, 29% of our employees have been with Tyler for more than 10 years, and the turnover rate for Tyler is nearly half that of the industry benchmarks. We work hard to support our great employees, who in turn work hard to serve the needs of our clients and their communities.”

In collaboration with analytics firm Statista, Forbes selected America’s Best Employers based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 50,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations. The surveys were administrated in a series of online panels and provide a representative sample of the U.S. workforce.

Tyler was recognized alongside other midsize companies in 25 different industries including financial services, education, healthcare, information technology, professional services, and transportation.
