U.S. Bancorp said Thursday that Beth Lawlor recently joined U.S. Bank as president, Private Wealth Management.

The Private Wealth Management division provides products and services to the company's high net worth clients.

Ms. Lawlor will be based in U.S. Bank's New York office. She will set the strategic direction and oversee all aspects of Wealth Management's high net worth business, managing teams across the U.S.

Ms. Lawlor most recently was at UBS Group AG, where she served as managing director, head of national field engagement and sales, Wealth Management Banking and Lending.

Prior to that, she held leadership positions in private wealth-type markets at firms such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Advisors and Smith Barney.
