Vinci SA's (DG.FR) Eurovia has won a design-bulid contract for a highway in North Carolina via its subsidiary Blythe Construction, Vinci said Friday.
The French construction company said Eurovia won the design-build contract for the N.C. 540 Triangle Expressway Southeast Extension in Raleigh, North Carolina, in a joint venture with the Lane Construction Corporation.
The $403 million project will extend the existing Triangle Expressway and is designed to improve the highway system in the greater Raleigh area. The project covers the design and construction of a six-lane, 12.8-kilometer highway and is scheduled for completion in 2022, Vinci said.
