Voya Investment Management, the asset management business of Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE: VOYA), announced today that its Senior Loan Team will present at the American Bankers Association’s (ABA) webinar “Managing Credit Risk as a Result of the Coronavirus Pandemic” on June 24 at 2 p.m. ET.

The webinar is open to ABA member banks and non-member banks. Registration for the webinar is now open.

With over 25 years of experience in the senior loan market, Voya’s Senior Loan Team will discuss the primary issues associated with managing non-investment grade loan exposure in the current market environment, including challenges related to stressed and distressed loans. As this new economy has posed many unending questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the team will provide a deeper dive into the changing credit environment in the context of central bank policy, liquidity management and its longer-term view on the shape of recovery.

Members of the Voya Senior Loan Team manage over $25 billion in broadly syndicated corporate loans as of March 31, 2020. Their team members consist of former bankers, regulators and engineers, and long-standing industry analysts. The loans they manage, while typically large and diverse, consist of many of the same business enterprises found on Main Street, USA. In addition, Voya Investment Management also recently launched a new Regional and Community Bank Advisory Program that works with regional and community banks to advise them on implementing policies and standards to acquire and create customized portfolios of diversified commercial and industrial loans within the senior secured loan market.
