JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT

DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR

Reference is made to the joint announcement dated 26 September 2019 (the "Joint Announcement") jointly published by, amongst others, Wang On Group Limited ("WOG") and Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Holdings Limited ("WYT") in relation to, among other things, the Partial Offers and the Loan Agreement which constitute (i) major transactions for WOG; and (ii) a very substantial acquisition (in respect of the Partial Offers) and a major transaction (in respect of the Loan Agreement) for WYT. Unless otherwise stated, capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as ascribed to them in the Joint Announcement.

It was disclosed in the Joint Announcement that the WOG Circular and the WYT Circular containing further information regarding, among other things, the Partial Offers and the Loan, are expected to be despatched respectively to the WOG Shareholders and the WYT Shareholders on or before 21 October 2019. As additional time is required for WYT and WOG to prepare and finalise certain financial information (including the pro forma financial information required to be disclosed under the Listing Rules) to be incorporated into the respective circulars, it is expected that the despatch of the WOG Circular and the WYT Circular will be postponed to a date on or before 4 November 2019.

As at this joint announcement date, the WOG Board comprises Mr. Tang Ching Ho, Ms. Yau Yuk Yin and Mr. Chan Chun Hong, Thomas as executive directors; and Dr. Lee Peng Fei, Allen, Mr. Wong Chun, Justein and Mr. Siu Kam Chau as independent non-executive directors.
