Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) announced today Terry Kelly is stepping down as President of TA Instruments effective immediately. TA Instruments, based in New Castle, Delaware is a division of Waters specializing in thermal analysis, rheology and mechanical testing. Mr. Kelly will serve as a senior advisor for the next 90 days as he transitions to retirement. Rob Carson, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Waters Corporation will serve as the interim President of the TA business in addition to retaining his Corporate Development duties.

Mr. Carson will be working closely with the seasoned TA management team during the transition and assist in the process underway of identifying a new leader for the division. Prior to joining Waters in 2018, Mr. Carson spent 16 years at Medtronic, where he most recently was Vice President & General Manager of the company’s pacemaker business.
