Translink and exceet renew agreement Framework Agreement on card supply for the next three years
Europe's most innovative urban transport system relies on exceet competency
Rotkreuz, Kematen, July 21, 2015 - exceet Card Group AG, a leading European producer of RFID, dual interface and chip cards, recently signed a new agreement with Translink, representing the re-extension of a long-standing, successful partnership. The agreement pertains to the supply of smartcards to Translink.Translink operates the ticketing system for public transport in the Netherlands. The contactless OV chip cards are used in buses, trams, metro and urban railways across the country and in all cities. The project, managed by Translink, is considered one of the most innovative public transport projects in Europe and has model character.
Reliable - All day, every day
Each day, the card is used countless times throughout the Dutch urban transport ticketing system and is thus in continual use. For such a project to be successful, a secure and reliable card is indispensable. Translink will continue to rely on the knowhow of exceet's experts and can depend on the high quality of the smartcards supplied by exceet. The new three-year agreement confirms and expands the close, long-standing partnership between exceet and Translink.
