VILNIUS, May 27 (LETA--BNS) The Lithuanian government on Wednesday allowed resuming regular flights between Lithuania and Germany as well as the Netherlands.

Applications to resume flights to and from those countries had been filed by airBaltic and Wizz Air, the Foreign Ministry said.

"Those would be the flights to Dortmund and Eindhoven, as well as flights between Eindhoven and Kaunas offered by Wizz Air, also the flights from Vilnius to Berlin and from Vilnius to Amsterdam operated by airBaltic," Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius said at the Cabinet's regular meeting.

Last week, the government allowed resuming regular flights to Norway from May 25. Earlier it granted authorizations to relaunch flights to Frankfurt, Riga and Tallinn.
