Dakota Access LLC, controlled by Energy Transfer, filed a motion to stay a U.S. District Court ruling on Monday to shut down the 570,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) oil pipeline within 30 days.

Dakota Access also sought an expedited schedule for briefing a motion for stay, pending an appeal and requested a ruling on the motion by July 8, 2020.
