10. Other explanatory remarks:
The initial notification of Kinnevik AB (publ) was published on 14.10.2014. A group notification was published by the former controlling company, Verdere S.à. r.l. on 02.07.2018. In this notification Verdere S.à.r.l. announced that its voting rights in Zalando SE fell down to 0% due to the loss of control over Kinnevik AB (publ) and indirect control over Kinnevik Online AB and Kinnevik Internet 1 AB, which still remained a shareholder of Zalando SE holding 31.56% of voting rights (see section 10 of the notification published on 02.07.2018). On 17.09.2019, Kinnevik Internet 1 AB as direct shareholder as well as Kinnevik Online AB and Kinnevik AB (publ) as indirect shareholders fell below the 30% threshold.

Zalando SE is the European No. 1 in the online distribution of shoes and clothes for women, men and children. Net sales (including intragroup) break down by activity as follows:
- online sale (82.4%);
- operation of the "Lounge by Zalando" private sales site (14.3%). The group also operates physical stores;
- other (3.3%).
At the end of 2022, the group had 51.2 million active customers.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Germany/Austria/Switzerland (43%) and Europe (57%).
