MELBOURNE, Fla., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has finalized an agreement with Voyant International Corporation to license its software-defined radio technology for an aviation broadband initiative. Voyant (OTC Bulletin Board: VOYT), a provider of in-flight, broadband connectivity solutions for the commercial airline industry, had signed a letter of intent with Harris on March 11, 2008.

Under the agreement, Harris is licensing its software-defined radio (SDR) technology to Voyant to support broadband-dependent activities during commercial flight, including accessing the Internet and private intranets, transferring files, and using wireless handheld devices.
