Babalwa Ngonyama is Chairman for African Women Chartered Accountants, Chief Executive Officer of Sinayowetu Trading Enterprise and Chief Executive Officer of Sinayo Securities (Pty) Ltd. Ms. Ngonyama is also Council Chairman at the University of Cape Town and on the board of 10 other companies.

In her past career Ms. Ngonyama occupied the position of Chief Executive Officer at Black Business Council, CFO, Finance Director & Director at Safika Holdings (Pty) Ltd., Member-Education & Academic Review Committees at The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, Chairman-Transnet Auditors Technical Committee at APF Chartered Accountants, Inc., Audit Partner at Nkonki, Inc., Partner-Financial Institutions Services at Deloitte & Touche (South Africa) and Group Chief Internal Auditor at Nedbank Ltd.

Babalwa Ngonyama received an MBA from Bond University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Transkei.
