Bangun Sarwito Kusmuljono

Bangun Sarwito Kusmuljono served as the President Director of PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) from 1999 to 2005, President Director of PT Bank Nusa International from 1997 to 2015, and Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk from 2015 to 2019.
He also held positions as Commissioner of PT Bank Niaga, Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, and Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
Prior to his career in banking, he was the Head-Student Body at Institut Teknologi Bandung from 1965 to 1968.
He also served as a Member of the American Field Service Corp.
In terms of education, he earned an undergraduate degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 1970, an MBA from the University of Southern California in 1974, and a doctorate from Bogor Agricultural University in 2007.
