Chris was appointed as a Board Director of the managing entities of the Cinven Funds in 2019.
Chris has extensive experience in international asset management and is a director of a number of listed funds and investment companies.
He is also a member of the States of Guernsey’s Investment and Bond Sub-Committee.
Chris began his career as a graduate equity broker before specialising in equity and equity index derivatives, holding investment management positions with Bank of Bermuda, the Jardine Matheson Group and Fortis before joining the Edmond de Rothschild Group in Guernsey as Investment Director in 1999, overseeing a team of managers specialising in fixed income and alternative investment strategies.
He was appointed as CEO of the Group in Guernsey in 2008, a position he held until 2013 when he stepped down to concentrate on non-executive work and investment consultancy.
Chris is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a member of the Institute of Directors.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of London, as well as a Masters in Air Transport Management from the University of Cranfield, UK.
