Currently, Haluk Görgün is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS.

He is also on the board of Informatics Valley.

He previously occupied the position of Associate Member at Türkiye Bilimler Akademisi and Professor at Yildiz Technical University.

He received an undergraduate degree from Yildiz Technical University and a doctorate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
