Hans Olav Lindal is a Norwegian businessperson who has been the head of 12 different companies and currently occupies the position of Chairman at DOF ASA, Chairman at DOF Subsea AS (a subsidiary of DOF ASA), Chairman at Viken Shipping AS, Chairman at Hotel Terminus AS and Chairman of Norce Norwegian Research Centre AS.

He is also Director & Partner at Advokatfirmaet Thommessen AS and on the board of 14 other companies.

In the past he held the position of Chairman for Norwegian Hull Club, Chairman of Årø Bilsenter AS, Chairman of Norce AS, Independent Chairman at Bergen Group ASA, Chairman of Simek AS, Chairman for Triplex AS and Director at Norwegian Shipowners’ Association.

Hans Olav Lindal received a graduate degree from the University of London and a graduate degree from the University of Bergen.
