He is also on the board of Fosun Tourism Group (former Chairman & Chief Executive Officer) and Executive Vice President for Fosun International Ltd.

He previously occupied the position of Chairman of Shanghai Fosun High Technology (Group) Co., Ltd., Chief Executive Officer & Director at China Nepstar Chain Drugstore Ltd. and Vice President-China at OBI GmbH & Co. Deutschland KG.

Jian Nong Qian received a graduate degree from German University, an undergraduate degree from Shandong University and a graduate degree from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
