John Paulson told Paulson & Co. investors Monday that he sees a 50% chance of a euro breakup, Bloomberg News reported, citing an investor who listened to a second-quarter conference call.
Mr. Paulson said an event leading to a breakup could take place in three months to two years, Bloomberg reported.
In February, Mr. Paulson said the euro was "structurally flawed and will likely eventually unravel," Bloomberg reported at the time.
The report Monday also said Paulson & Co. has reduced net exposure on its Advantage, Credit and Recovery funds.
