She is also on the board of Veidekke ASA.

In the past she held the position of Head-Group Credit Risk & Financial Reporting at Nordea Bank Abp and Chief Financial Officer at Nordea Bank Norge ASA (a subsidiary of Nordea Bank Abp), Chief Executive & Financial Officer at Norwegian Finans Holding ASA, Executive VP & Head-Group Financial Management at DNB ASA and Manager for Ernst & Young AS.

Klara-Lise Aasen received a graduate degree from Norwegian School of Economics & Business Administration.
